Our Services and Meetings | |
Sunday |
11.00am and 6.30pm Both services have a simple form, with
hymns, prayers, the reading of Scripture and a sermon to explain
and apply what the Scripture says. All are very welcome to attend
these services. During the morning service we have "Sunday Special"
for the children (5 to 11 year olds) and a creche for the under 5's.
Communion on the first Sunday of each month following the morning service is open to all who truly believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and have obeyed and confessed him in Baptism by total immersion. |
Tuesday | 8.00pm Bible Study and Prayer Meeting. Generally a passage of Scripture is considered and time is spent in prayer when anyone can lead us. |
Wednesday | 2.00pm Ladies Meeting. In
this meeting the ladies sing hymns and usually have a visiting speaker
to bring God's word to them.
7.45pm Fellowship of Youth. This club is for young people aged 11 or over. We have games and an epilogue, and occasional outside activities such as ten pin bowling. |
Thursday | 10.00am The Lighthouse Club. Our Parent and Toddler Club - an informal gathering for parents with pre-school children. Drop in any time between 10.00 and 11.30am. |
Friday | 5.00pm The 5 to 6 Club for
children who are 5 or 6 years old, with games, refreshments and a Bible
story.
6.00pm The Crossroads Club for children aged between 7 and 11, with games, refreshments, a Bible story and quizzes. |
